Shell Gone Missing

From a black hole escaped a ray of light
A Thousand seas of Silence parted that night
A sleeping world awakened to a blazing meteorite
Setting the burdens of barren land (a)light.

This stray celestial fire fly
Lit up the lost map of a forgotten sky

The still earth re-started her slow dance,
clouds hastened their sluggish advance,

Unable to contain their ecstasy burst
The salivating earth once more felt thirst
Poured then droplets of sweet wine
An intoxicated earth, rejoicing in the Signs

Oh, How Beautiful their Lord must be!!

Its appetite still whet,
The empty crater now a goblet.
Overflowing with Heavenly Elixir from the clouds,
A Day of certainty to vanquish the long night of doubt?

The conflagration stoked by a sweet breeze,
Dancing leaves on bent trees
Willingly offered themselves whence,
Rose from the smoke a prayer incensed
Drawn out of her hiding by the familiar fragrance
In her full splendour adorning the landscape with her presence

Emerged then the crown jewel on the naked sky.
The plea carried by the breeze she could not deny

Adorning the landscape now, glorious and full
An ocean dormant awakened to Love’s irresistible pull
